Dante Cesario Katigbak Lescano

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dante Lescano, who entered eternal rest on October 25, 2025, embraced by the love of his family. He was 84 years old.

Born on November 3, 1940, in Lipa City, Batangas, Dante immigrated to Canada in 2004. He lived a life grounded in faith, family, and service. Known for his kindness and steadfast heart, he touched everyone he met. To his grandchildren, he was a source of joyful teasing; to his friends, he was loyal and dependable; to his community, he was someone you could trust.

Dante dedicated his career to public administration proudly servicing the City of Lipa. A man of deep faith, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus (1990 – 2003), a lifelong member and President of the Sto. Niño de Praga Organization (Lipa City Chapter) from 1985 to 2003.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Barbara, and their children Belinda (Raul), Benilda (Carmelo), Blanca (Tom), Dennis (Rhizza), Blessie (Evan), and Beth (Ian); grandchildren Tricia, Camille, Dustin, Caleb, Raena, Robyn, and Brie; great-grandchildren Bella and Rafa; and his siblings Linda, Danny, Efren, and Mike.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff of Foothills Medical Hospital in Calgary, Alberta for their compassionate care.
