Clifford “Newf” Walter Price

Clifford “Newf” Walter Price was born on November 2, 1951, in Gander, Newfoundland. He passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta.

Son of the late Walter William Price and Effie May Brown, Clifford was the beloved widower of Melinda Hansen, his longtime partner of 25 years. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Carolyn Price and Christy Cronk, along with Christy’s husband, Tyler Cronk, all of whom live in Cochrane, Alberta. Clifford was a proud grandfather to Marcus, Jaydon, Auston, and Skyler. He is also survived by his siblings Gertie Collins, Tery Price, Shirley Nolan, and Daphne Bussey. Wayne Price preceded Clifford in passing.

Clifford will always be remembered for his love of broomball, his quick sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He often said that his fondest memories were of working on projects with friends and family, sharing laughter and companionship along the way.

Clifford’s kindness, work ethic, and devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.

Celebration of Life for Clifford Price will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 15 East Ridge Blvd, Rocky View County, Chestermere AB , from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm.
