Chaz Anthony Michael Rigoni of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the young age of 26 years.
Born October 5, 1999, Chaz was more than just a brother, he was a best friend to many, a protector, devoted son and brother, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him.
His laughter, beautiful smile, kindness, and the way he cared so deeply for those around him will never be forgotten. Chaz had a way of making people feel welcome, loved, and understood. He truly cared about others more than himself; he brought joy wherever he went and left a huge and lasting mark on the hearts of his family and friends.
Chaz was an avid fisherman, gamer, and sports fan. If Chaz was not on the river or fishing at the community lake, he was cheering on his favourite sports teams, the Calgary Flames and Washington Commanders. He will be most remembered for his goofy personality, and wanting to make people laugh. He always knew how to light up a room.
Chaz is survived by his parents, Mike and Paula Rigoni (Rob), his big sister and best friend, Angelina (fiancé Liam). Chaz is also survived by his grandparents Jack and Sheila Bruce (aka Nan and Pops), his uncles, Steve (Deanna), Wayne (Maxine), Kelly (Leona), Richard (Shelly), as well as dozens of near and dear cousins and countless friends.
Chaz was predeceased by his grandpa Roger Rigoni (aka nonno) and grandma, Jenny Hulzebos (Albert).
There will be a celebration of life that the family will send private invitations to.
