Celine Bourdage

Celine passed away in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 89 on August 6, 2025.

Celine was predeceased by her husband Jean-Guy Bourdage and many sisters, brothers and godson, Giles. Celine is survived by her 3 daughters, Manon (Will), Linda (Lloyd), Johanne; grandsons, Cyr, Daniel and Michael.

Celine was born in Caplan in the Gaspe Peninsula area in eastern Quebec and was the second youngest out of 12 children.

Celine was married to Jean-Guy and had 3 daughters, Manon, Linda and Johanne. She was a wonderful mom with a big heart and great strength.

Celine ran and owned a garden Centre, Christmas Tree lot, Vegetable Stands and also created her own wooden block company which she still operated at the time of her car accident when she was 79 years old in 2015.

Celine loved traveling to visit her relatives in Montreal and the Gaspe Quebec area. She also loved Mexico and traveled there many times, even drove down a few times.

Many thanks also to the incredible staff at The Father Lacombe Care Centre, Calgary, Alberta. We will miss them greatly.

Céline est décédée à Calgary, en Alberta, le 6 août 2025, à l'âge de 89 ans.

Céline a été précédée dans la mort par son époux Jean-Guy Bourdage, ainsi que par de nombreux frères et sœurs et son filleul Giles. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois filles : Manon (Will), Linda (Lloyd) et Johanne, ainsi que ses petits-fils : Cyr, Daniel et Michael.

Céline est née à Caplan, en Gaspésie, dans l'est du Québec, et était l'avant-dernière d'une famille de 12 enfants.

Céline était mariée à Jean-Guy et avait trois filles : Manon, Linda et Johanne. C'était une mère formidable, au grand cœur et d'une grande force.

Céline était propriétaire d'une jardinerie, d'un lot d'arbres de Noël et d'un kiosque à légumes. Elle a également créé sa propre entreprise de blocs de bois, qu'elle exploitait encore au moment de son accident de voiture, en 2015, à l'âge de 79 ans.

Céline adorait voyager pour rendre visite à sa famille à Montréal et en Gaspésie. Elle adorait aussi le Mexique, où elle a voyagé à plusieurs reprises, y allant même en voiture à quelques reprises.

A celebration of Celine’s life will take place on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at 2:00pm to 5:00pm in Sainte Famille Roman Catholic Church (1717 5th Street SW, Calgary, AB). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Father Lacombe Care Centre
