Bryan Harry Twells

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bryan Harry Twells on October 22, 2024, at the age of 76, after a courageous battle with dementia. 

Born May 29, 1948, in Kimberly, BC, Bryan was the beloved son of Wilfred "Nip" and Annie Elizabeth "Betty" Twells. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Judith Ann Twells (nee O'Connor), and a cherished brother to his sister, Susan Patricia "Pat" McColl (nee Twells). Bryan's life was marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family, alongside the satisfaction he had in leading his own engineering company. He was a proud father to his (6) children - Jason (Heather), Chris (Anne), Tim (Misty), Heather, Dawn Mendenhall (Brigham), and Amber (Conner); and found immense joy in his role as grandfather to his (8) grandchildren, Alex Coombe (Tanya), Max, Spencer, Matthew, Mitchell, Samantha, AJ, and Jasper. Bryan's memory will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege of getting to know him. 

A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date to honour the remarkable life he led and to reflect on the love, strength, and wisdom he shared with those around him.
