Brian Joseph "Joe" Doan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Joseph Doan (Joe) as he liked to be known as in Calgary, Alberta.

Joe will be greatly missed by his son  Joey(Taylor); brother Robert (Holly); nephews Cameron(Maranda), Austin and great-niece Lainey.  As well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Even though we are grieving the loss of our Dad, Brother and Uncle, we take comfort knowing that he is reunited with his wife Debra, Mom and Dad (Joseph and Marjorie) and brother Thomas.

Joe was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 17, 1964 where he continued to live until his passing.  Joe was an avid fisherman, could always be found at Westward Ho camping and fishing with his family.  Don’t ever challenge Joe to Jeopardy or Crosswords as you were guaranteed to lose.  You would always find him reading Stephen King books, he loved to read.  Joe was a very smart man.

The highlight of Joe’s life was when his son Joey was born.  He was the proudest Dad around.  To this day he was so proud of the young man he was and his accomplishments.

Joe was predeceased by his wife Debra, his parents Joseph Baden and Marjorie Doan, his brother Thomas Doan and maternal/paternal grandparents.

Dad/Joe even though we are grieving right now we will cherish our memories with you.  Till we meet again …. Love You!

As per Joe’s wishes there will be no funeral at this time but will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
