With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our dear son, brother, and friend to so many Brian Fifield. Brian passed away suddenly at his residence in Calgary Alberta. He was predeceased by his grandparents Clarence and Genevieve Fifield and Andrew and Alice Ricketts.
Leaving to mourn are his dad and mom, Gary and Genevieve Fifield, sister Heather (Jay Vey), nephews Josh and Andrew, a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and co-workers.
Born in St. Johns, Brian grew up having a very happy childhood, with a love of fishing and hiking. In later life he was very proud of his accomplishment of achieving a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician. His Electrical career took him to Western Canada and to Calgary as his homebase.
Brian was well known among his friends and family for his quick wit which normally left everyone with a good laugh. He continued his passion for the outdoors, hiking and dog walking that he loved so much.
He often shared stories of his work life in remote mining camps, love of cars and past fun with friends.
We will miss Brian as we keep him close to our hearts and keep precious those memories and experiences we shared.
In lieu of flowers donations are graciously accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Beagle Paws Rescue (info@beaglepaws.com).
A celebration of life will be held in St. John’s at a later date.
