Barry Edward McGuire

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Edward McGuire, who departed this life peacefully on June 15, 2026 surrounded by his family. Barry was born May 5, 1952 in Montreal, Quebec to Gerald McGuire and Marion Chambers.

Barry was known for his quick wit, humor, unwavering kindness and fierce love for his family. He showed this right until the end.

Barry was an entrepreneur who founded several businesses over the years. He strived for success in all his endeavors and always provided for his family.

Barry was a son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. Barry is survived by Lisa, his wife of 44 years; his children Tara (Vince), Dione and Shane (Sarah); his grandchildren Shyana, Cloe (Reese) and Ava; his brothers Bo (Gail), Michael; his nephews Steve, Jason, Danny and his niece Kim.

Barry is preceded in death by his mother Marion, his father Gerald, his brother Kevin and sister Sue.

Barry's wit, humor, kindness and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts for those who knew him. He believed in building relationships and memories that will last forever.
