Barry GULBRANDSEN

Born March 4th, 1965, Barry resided the majority of his life in British Columbia and Alberta. Barry passed suddenly on April 15th, 2025 at the age of 60 after a complication from a heart attack.

He was a true outdoorsman, as well as a capable mechanic who served in the Canadian military. He created his own landscaping and arborist company, and was able to make friends everywhere he went, who affectionately called him ‘Bear’ for the way he would easily climb the trees he was working on.

During his time on earth, he struggled deeply with mental illness. No matter the challenges he encountered, he was able to find stability for himself and continue making friends along the way. Barry leaves behind his two children, Gabrielle and Brendan. He will be remembered for his social nature, resilience, and spirit of adventure. May peace and love be with you Barry.
