Arnold Helmut Jewan

Emigrated to Canada 1953

Predeceased by sister Marga and parents Emil and Ottilie

Survived by sisters Elfrieda and Gerry (Wayne), and brothers Kurt (Sharon) and Heinz (Bev).

As well as son Brian (Leonie) and grandson Eric, daughter Diana and granddaughter Crystal (Wayne) and grandson Russell (Rene) and great grandson Jacob.

Arnold’s work was his passion, even through illness and injury he wouldn’t be happy until he was back at work.  He started in the steel industry in 1960 working at the same business, even though the owners changed, until his retirement in 2020.  His longstanding union membership was highlighted in the spring 2016 Hardhat magazine where he was noted to be the longest standing member of an industrial union in Alberta.

Arnold will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.  A very special thank you to May and Don Bell who have been so much more than friends and neighbors of Arnold.
