Amber Pawluk Obituary

Amber Pawluk was born in Saskatoon, SK, at St. Paul’s Hospital on February 26, 1990, and passed away on July 29, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with addiction.

Amber was a fearless, adventurous, and vibrant soul. From a young age, she was a social butterfly who made friends easily and lived life with boldness and heart. Her laugh was unforgettable, her love ran deep, and her loyalty to those she cared for was unwavering, especially to her daughter, Parker.

Parker was Amber’s greatest joy and fiercest motivation. Though addiction is a cruel and relentless disease, Amber never stopped fighting to build a safe, loving, and adventurous life for her daughter. She faced her struggles with bravery, even when met with judgment, including from those closest to her. Through it all, her love for Parker never wavered. Their bond was unbreakable: best friends, soulmates, each other’s rock.

Amber had a gift for making others feel beautiful, both inside and out. She built a successful hairdressing practice that reflected her creativity, warmth, and ability to connect with people. Her clients often became friends, drawn in by her talent and her infectious spirit.

Amber would not want to be defined by her addiction. She would want to be remembered for the laughter she brought, the love she gave, and the memories she created. If her story helps even one person, whether they are struggling themselves or loving someone who is, then it was worth telling.

Amber is survived by her daughter Parker; her mother Sheri Pawluk (Steve May); her father Greg Piche (Diana Piche); her sister Jessie Drew (Brian Drew) and niece Gracie Drew; her grandparents Dianne Ward (Darcy “Bumpy” Ward), Baba, Donna Pawluk and Denis Piche; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her Gido, Terry Pawluk, and her Mére, Sandra Piche.

Amber’s war is over, and she is finally at peace. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can say.
