Alan Otani, age 66, passed away on April 18th, leaving behind a lifetime of memories with those who loved him most.
Alan was a man who truly appreciated the simple things in life. He loved his music, whether it was playing in the background or something he could really sit and enjoy as well as sports, and there was rarely a moment when a cold beer and good company did not make things better. More than anything, Alan had a generous heart. He was always willing to help others, never hesitating to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be there when someone needed him. That quiet kindness is something those who knew him will never forget.
Alan is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Ashley, who will carry his memory with her always, and his grandson, Aurelius. He is also survived by his sisters, Julie and Karen, along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.
Alan was predeceased by his father, Kaizo; his mother, May; and his brother, Mike. There is comfort in knowing he is reunited with them once again.
Alan will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his caring spirit, and the way he showed up for people without ever needing recognition. His presence brought comfort, his actions spoke louder than words, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
